Inver Grove Ford Lincoln is a local, family owned automotive dealership looking for a full time Business Development Representative. This is a fun and exciting position driven by the passion to sell and provide fantastic customer service.
The whole goal of this position is to get sales customers and prospects in the door. For example, a customer calls or emails and wants information on a 2013 Ford Escape. Through a variety of sales techniques and scripts, your responsibility would be to get that customer in the door to meet with a sales person. You are not responsible for selling the car, but selling the visit and the dealership!
Skills Necessary: We are looking for an individual who is energetic, driven, and sales oriented. This individual should have previous phone work and sales experience. They must be willing to learn the products and work one on one with their peers to give the customer the best experience possible. The automotive business is very fast paced and never boring! You must always be on your toes and take advantage of every opportunity. If you are an upbeat, positive, and sales oriented individual, this job is for you!
Some Daily Tasks Include:
-Effectively answer inbound phone calls, emails, texts, and Internet chats for Service and Sales
-Successfully implement outbound calling and emailing campaigns
-Provide follow up to people interested in purchasing a vehicle
-Work as a team with car sales associates and Internet Sales Managers to ensure communication procedures are followed for the entire duration of a sale cycle, ensuring prospects turn into sales.
-Provide marketing support
-Must be 18 years of age or older
-Must have accurate and fluent speaking and writing skills
-High School Diploma required
-Some college preferred
-Must pass a drug and criminal background test
